Kelowna's T'ikamayo

T'ikamayo's sire is the celebrated Jolimont Peruvian Alpamayo, and his dam is our very own Jolimont Peruvian T'ika. T'ikamayo is full brother to the amazing Kelowna Sundance Kid who at age three and four won Supreme Championship Fleece honour, traditionally won by yearlings, not mature breeding males. He has won many other ribbons at shows across western Canada, and to date his offspring have won 10 grand champion and 5 reserve champion awards. A Sundance daughter was the highest selling female at the Orangeville Ontario Show in November 2007.

Like his brother, T'ikamayo has a perfect conformation, and a strong bone structure. His fibre is dense, uniform and shows excellent crimp, with very good coverage.

He is becoming a real gentleman with the ladies, and is gentle and easy to handle. T'ikamayo's first cria, Kelowna's Au Revoir Naramata who was born in May 2006, is surpassing all expectations of her great genetics and has turned out to be an outstanding young female with beautiful conformation, fantastic fibre and a gentle personality. She has since been sold to the United States.

In 2008, T'ikamayo sired three beautiful white cria, two females, Mystica and Cielo, and one male, Vis-a-Vis Viraz. Viraz placed 4th in his class at Expo Quebec in 2009, and his fleece placed 3rd in the 2009 Lloydminster Fleece show. In 2009, he sired our first brown male cria, from Stardust, our black female. We are looking forward to seeing his 2010 cria!
