Kelowna's Amaya

Amaya is the first female cria to be born at Laurentian Alpaca Farm. Her sire, Jolimont Peruvian Viracocha, and her grandsire, Coyo Destini, are two of the most prestigious herdsires in Canada. She has pure white fibre, with amazing crimp,brightness and density. Her conformation is perfect, and she has a lovely, gentle personality, while at the same time being very curious about what is going on around her.

Amaya has fulfilled all of our expectations - she has grown into a beautiful young juvenile female, with perfect conformation and award winning fleece. She won second place in her class of twelve at the Navan Alpaca Fleece Show in August 2008. She has maintained her sweet disposition, and with her great genetics - she is a Viracocha daughter and a Coyo Destini granddaughter - we are sure that she will be an outstanding addition to your herd.
